Meet Linda
Christmas Eve 1999, my first husband died suddenly, catapulting my interest in intuitive wisdom and creativity into a passion.
Moving through what was undoubtedly the toughest challenge of my life, I discovered previously unknown stores of resilience, spirit and artistry.
The more I knew about what I was truly made of, the more I could share it in the service of others. My joy, love, creativity and effectiveness as a person expanded!
The popular, life-changing program, “Embrace Your Creative Spirit: Eight Ways to Be an Artist of Life” blossomed out of that transformative journey. I am deeply grateful to the hundreds of men and women who, by sharing their stories in inspiration circles, have helped to enrich and strengthen the program.
I’ve been a professional helper in one form or another, as well as a motivational speaker, since 1983. I’ve taught at universities, corporations, nonprofits, churches and retreat centers. Since 2001, I’ve been a coach. I’m a graduate of the MentorCoach Foundations Program and a member of the International Federation of Coaches.
My home is in wild, wonderful West Virginia. In 2003 I met, fell in love with and married a wonderful man, who was also widowed. I’m the grateful mother of one grown daughter and am part of a beautiful step-family that includes four children and two grand-children.
Licensed in West Virginia as a psychologist, I earned a doctorate in counseling psychology from West Virginia University in 1991. My master’s degree is in counselor education from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. I earned my B.A. in Journalism at Michigan State University.
