Loss Becomes a Doorway to A Deeper Relationship with Our Creative Essence

I’ve been a little quiet on my blog for awhile. Essentially, I’ve been in a “cocoon”—a kind of reflective space where I’ve been rethinking (read: thinking BIGGER about) my business focus.

I’m in the process of retooling the wisdomsources website and this blog with a tightened focus on the relationship between creativity and loss.

Up until the time that losses became the catalyst that spurred me to get more deeply acquainted with my innately healthy, joyful, unlimited ESSENCE, I would not have called myself creative or viewed life as an infinitely intriguing creative journey. The loss of my health after a bad fall from a ladder, a journey through chronic pain and the sudden death of my first husband in a motor vehicle accident on Christmas Eve of 1999 showed me so clearly that my creative spirit was MUCH bigger than I knew it to be. I know now that I can’t even contemplate, with my rational mind, the biggness of it.

There are alot of you out there making the journey through loss. Maybe you’ve lost a husband, a child, a beloved parent...a breast, a pain-free existence, your sense of being healthy and whole...your well-being, your sense of direction...your job, your love of your career. Loss is universal and ubiquitous. We KNOW, innately, how to be resilient through it. Our ability to heal is built into us. But sometimes we forget that.

Talk to me. Please join me on this journey to connect women transiting through loss who are finding their way to a more creative experience of life than they’ve ever imagined could be possible...let’s share our wisdom and help each other along.
