When was the last time you made a date with a friend specifically to catch up, discuss your dreams and share your creative visions?
Yesterday, I had lunch with two lovely, inspiring women who are in the same coach training program I’m completing. We shared our wins, hopes, dreams, challenges and insights.
I think each of us came away with a more creative viewpoint about something we’re facing. (I’m so grateful for both of you!)
I notice that when I make and take the time to connect with people I love to be around, my creativity blossoms. Something about the good feelings generated when kindred spirits meet raises my energy level and strengthens the flow of intuitive wisdom.
Do this right now: Make a list quickly of the people in your support network. Of those, who do you feel most alive with? Where do you experience your best positive energy and strongest loving feelings? Which partnership is most likely to fuel a creative burst? Who is MOST likely to LISTEN deeply and LEAST likely to over-ride your agenda with their opinions, problems and fears? Who challenges you with powerful questions and insights?
Call that person today and make a date: phone or real-time, it doesn’t matter. Set the agenda. Let them know you’re wanting to share the excitement of your deepest dreams and biggest visions. Dare to ask for their support.
Suppose nobody in your current network fits the bill. The insight that your support system needs some development is useful. Sometimes we’re not even aware that a lack of positive connection has been hampering our energy.
You might consider sending out a prayer of intention announcing your desire and willingness for an empowering friendship. Then stay alert for candidates and do your part to make the connection. Stretch out the Goddess hand you were given to welcome a new friend!
Sometimes when I share with creative kindred spirits I get VERY surprised at what comes out of my mouth! A piece of my dream materializes in front of me as the words form and I KNOW in an instant that something is right. There really is something powerful about conscious, loving partnership that facilitates tapping into a Higher Mind!
